1989-P Roosevelt Dime BU
The 1989 Roosevelt dime minted in Philadelphia offers a crisp look at one of America's longest-running modern coin designs. Struck in a brilliant uncirculated finish, this ten-cent piece showcases the distinct profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt on its obverse. Surrounding his portrait are the classic inscriptions of freedom and faith, including "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," alongside the year of issue and the "P" mint mark signifying its origin at the Philadelphia Mint. Turning the coin over reveals a rich trio of symbolic imagery on the reverse. A central lit torch, representing liberty, is flanked by an olive branch on the left to signify peace, and an oak branch on the right to represent strength and independence. The legendary motto "E-PLURIBUS UNUM" is woven through the design, framed by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the face value, "ONE DIME."
