The 1990 Roosevelt dime, struck at the Denver Mint, stands as a familiar yet deeply symbolic piece of modern United States pocket change. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of its original strike just as it appeared when leaving the coining press over three decades ago. The obverse features the left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surrounding his portrait are the classic American inscriptions of "LIBERTY" and the national motto "IN GOD WE TRUST", alongside the 1990 year of issue. Just below the truncation of the neck, the "D" mint mark indicates its origin from the Denver facility. On the reverse, three powerful symbols are arranged side-by-side. An olive branch on the left represents peace, a central lit torch signifies liberty, and an oak branch on the right symbolizes strength and independence. Woven around these elements are the legends "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination "ONE DIME", along with the traditional Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
