Struck in 1992, this half-ounce gold coin is a stunning example of American coinage, carrying a face value of 25 Dollars. With a limited worldwide production of just 54,404 pieces, the coin is composed of 0.9167 fine gold and is backed by the official guarantee of the United States Mint. The front of the coin depicts Lady Liberty moving forward, illuminated by the rays of the rising sun. In her hands, she holds a torch to light the way and an olive branch as a symbol of peace. The year 1992 is inscribed alongside her image. The reverse side presents a detailed family scene of America's national bird. A male bald eagle is shown in mid-flight, carrying an olive branch back to a nest where a female eagle and their young await his return. This side also features the traditional mottos, including "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," along with the country of issue and the denomination.
