1993-S Bill of Rights $1 Silver Commem Proof (w/Box & COA)

0.7734 troy oz .900 1993 Proof

Struck in 1993, this United States silver dollar celebrates the legacy of James Madison and the foundational Bill of Rights. Minted at the San Francisco facility, the coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, combining historical significance with precious metal content in a beautiful proof finish. The front of the coin displays a portrait of James Madison, drafted by artist William Krawczewicz. Surrounding his likeness are the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year 1993, alongside his name. This side also bears the S mint mark, denoting its origin in San Francisco. On the reverse, designer Dean McMullen depicts Montpelier, the Virginia home shared by James and Dolley Madison. The detailed rendering of the estate is accompanied by the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the face value of ONE DOLLAR, making this a fully authorized sovereign issue backed by the government.
