The 1995 Kennedy half dollar represents a classic piece of modern United States coinage, struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the original details of the coin's design just as it appeared when it first left the coining press. The composition of this issue consists of an outer layer of copper and nickel bonded directly to a core of pure copper. On the obverse, the coin features a left-facing portrait of President John F. Kennedy, designed by Gilroy Roberts. The inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST" is positioned directly below the bust, while the word "LIBERTY" arches over the top. The year 1995 is struck at the bottom, accompanied by the "P" mint mark signifying its Philadelphia origin. The reverse, created by Frank Gasparro, displays a highly detailed heraldic eagle. The eagle holds a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace. A shield is placed over the eagle's chest, and the design is encircled by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "HALF DOLLAR."
