The 1999-P Susan B. Anthony dollar represents a fascinating moment in modern United States coinage, marking a brief revival for this small-sized dollar series. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin is presented in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the original luster and sharp details of its distinctive engraving. On the obverse, the portrait of social reformer Susan B. Anthony faces right, accompanied by the inscription IN GOD WE TRUST. The Philadelphia mint mark, a clear letter P, is positioned just behind her neck, while the year 1999 is anchored at the bottom. Designer Frank Gasparro's initials, FG, are also visible on this side. The reverse features an adaptation of the famous Apollo 11 insignia, a design elements carried over from the earlier Eisenhower dollar.
