2 oz Gold High Relief Round - $10 Indian
This impressive gold round brings a classic American design into a modern, high-relief format. Struck in a 39 mm size, the round is composed of two troy ounces of 0.9999 fine gold. Though it is not legal tender, it serves as a detailed tribute to the historic ten-dollar Indian Gold Eagle series that originally circulated from 1907 to 1933. The obverse features a left-facing profile of Lady Liberty. In a departure from traditional depictions, she wears an Native American feather headdress, with the word LIBERTY clearly inscribed across the headband. This striking portrait is encircled by thirteen stars, representing the original colonies. On the reverse, a proud eagle stands atop a bundle of arrows wrapped in an olive branch. The detailed design is accompanied by several traditional inscriptions, including UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse also specifies the weight and purity with the inscription TWO TROY OUNCES.
