2 oz Silver High Relief Round - 1878 Morgan Dollar
This silver round presents a dramatic, high-relief interpretation of the historic United States Morgan Dollar, which was originally produced from 1878 to 1904 and once more in 1921. Named after its creator, George T. Morgan, the iconic design is reimagined here on a 39 mm canvas containing two troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver. Both sides of the round are framed by classic denticles, adding a traditional textured border to the modern striking technique. The front of the round displays a left-facing profile of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap. This central portrait is encircled by the word LIBERTY, the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the historic date of 1878. Thirteen stars are split across the lower rim, with seven positioned on the left side and six on the right. On the reverse, an eagle stretches its wings wide while grasping an olive branch and three arrows. Above the eagle, the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed in a distinctive Old English typeface. The outer rim carries the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and TWO TROY OZ, completing a powerful tribute to one of America's most celebrated historic coin designs.
