Introduced in the early twentieth century, this twenty-dollar gold coin represents a landmark era in American coinage. Minted between 1907 and 1933, the coin contains 0.9675 troy ounces of gold with a purity of 0.900. These impressive pieces were struck at three different United States mint facilities: Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco. The obverse side presents a dynamic illustration of Lady Liberty walking forward, bathed in the radiating beams of a rising sun. On the reverse, a majestic bald eagle is captured mid-flight, soaring across the design. The reverse also displays the inscriptions "United States of America" and "Twenty Dollars" to denote its issuing authority and face value. Along the edge of the coin, the traditional motto "E Pluribus Unum" is elegantly spaced out and separated by stars.
