Created by the celebrated sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, this twenty dollar gold coin represents a landmark era in American coining. The United States Mint struck these pieces between 1907 and 1933, utilizing facilities in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco. Each coin contains 0.9675 troy ounces of gold, with a purity of 0.900, presenting a substantial and historic physical presence. On the reverse, a majestic bald eagle is captured in mid-flight, soaring across the face of the coin.
