1.0000 troy oz .9999 2000 Brilliant Unc

In the year 2000, Australia celebrated the Lunar calendar with a striking 100 dollar gold coin. This piece represents the fifth release in a twelve coin collection from the Perth Mint, marking the first of their celebrated Lunar Series. Struck with a high purity of 0.9999 fine gold, this coin contains exactly one troy ounce of the precious metal, with a strict production limit of 30,000 pieces. The reverse side displays a traditional Chinese dragon alongside a pearl of wisdom, a design created by Tony Dean. On the obverse, the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley depiction of Queen Elizabeth II, which also displays the face value of 100 dollars. Legible inscriptions on the coin include "AUSTRALIA", "100 DOLLARS", and "1 OZ 9999 GOLD", confirming its weight, purity, and origin.
