Struck at the San Francisco Mint, this 2001 proof dime represents a modern continuation of one of America's most enduring coin designs. Composed of 90 percent silver, the coin contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. Its mirror-like proof finish highlights the intricate details of the engraving, showcasing the artistry of the United States Mint during the turn of the twenty-first century. The obverse of the coin displays the profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, facing left.
