2004 1 oz American Silver Eagle BU
The 2004 American Silver Eagle represents the eighteenth release in a celebrated silver series that originally commenced in 1986. Authorized under the Liberty Coin Act, this modern United States dollar contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. Its production is fully backed by the United States Mint, with a total of 8,882,754 of these pieces minted for global distribution. On the front of the coin, Adolph A. Weinman's classic depiction of Lady Liberty is rendered in elegant detail, accompanied by the traditional inscriptions of the year 2004 and the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST". The opposite side displays a formal heraldic eagle beneath a cluster of thirteen small stars. This reverse face also bears the official inscriptions denoting the nation of origin, the weight, the purity, and the face value of one dollar.
