2005-D Roosevelt Dime BU
The 2005 Roosevelt dime represents a classic piece of modern American pocket change, struck with crisp detail at the Denver Mint. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, allowing observers to appreciate the sharp lines of the design just as it looked when it first left the coining press. On the obverse side, the profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt faces left. Surrounding his portrait are the familiar inscriptions of liberty and trust, along with the 2005 year of issue and the distinctive "D" mint mark, which identifies its origin from the Denver facility. The reverse of the coin displays a trio of powerful symbols arranged side by side. From left to right, you can discern an olive branch representing peace, a central lit torch symbolizing liberty, and an oak branch signifying strength and independence. These elements are framed by the traditional national mottos and the ten-cent face value denomination.
