2005-P Roosevelt Dime BU
The 2005 Roosevelt dime, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, offers a close look at a classic piece of modern American pocket change in brilliant uncirculated condition. The obverse of the ten-cent piece features the sharp, left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surrounding his portrait are the familiar inscriptions of freedom and faith, including the word "LIBERTY" and the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST," alongside the 2005 year of issue and the "P" mint mark indicating its Philadelphia origin. Turning the coin over reveals a rich trio of symbolic elements arranged across the reverse. A central upright torch, representing liberty, is flanked on the left by an olive branch symbolizing peace, and on the right by an oak branch signifying strength and independence. Woven around these central images is the traditional Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM," while the outer rim clearly displays the issuing nation, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the face value, "ONE DIME."
