2006-D Roosevelt Dime BU
Struck at the Denver Mint in 2006, this ten-cent piece showcases a classic design that has graced American pocket change for decades. The obverse features a sharp profile of the thirty-second president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surrounding the portrait are the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 2006 year of issue and the D mint mark, indicating its origin in Denver. The reverse of the coin presents a trio of symbolic elements arranged from left to right: an olive branch representing peace, a lit torch symbolizing liberty, and an oak branch signifying strength. Intertwined with these symbols is the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. The outer rim is inscribed with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the denomination ONE DIME, completing a design rich in national iconography.
