2006-P Nevada State Quarter BU

0.0000 troy oz 2006 Brilliant Unc

The 2006 Nevada quarter, minted in Philadelphia, captures the untamed essence of the Great Basin. The reverse design showcases a trio of wild stallions running free in the foreground, framed by the majestic silhouette of snow-dusted mountains. This vivid scene is accompanied by the state name, the year of its admission to the Union (1864), and its famous nickname, "The Silver State." On the obverse, the familiar profile of George Washington faces left, a classic design originally created by John Flanagan. The coin's physical composition consists of a copper and nickel outer layer bonded to a core of pure copper. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, displaying the crisp details of Don Everhart's reverse engraving just as it looked when it first emerged from the Philadelphia Mint.
