Bearing the 'W' mint mark, this twenty-five dollar denomination coin contains exactly one-half troy ounce of gold. This particular issue is notable for its limited production, with a total worldwide mintage of only 15,164 pieces. The obverse side of the coin displays a classic depiction of Lady Liberty. She stands majestically, holding a torch to light the way and an olive branch as a symbol of peace, while rays of sunlight stream from the background. The design is accompanied by the year 2006 inscribed on the surface. On the reverse, the coin features a detailed family scene of eagles. A male eagle is captured in flight, soaring above a nest that cradles a female eagle and her young eaglets. This side also bears traditional inscriptions, including the national mottos 'IN GOD WE TRUST' and 'E PLURIBUS UNUM', alongside the country of origin, the metal weight, and the face value.
