0.7734 troy oz .900 2007 Brilliant Unc

In 2007, the United States Mint released a commemorative silver dollar marking four centuries since the establishment of Jamestown, Virginia. This coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, minted with a purity of 90 percent. Produced at the Philadelphia Mint, this Brilliant Uncirculated issue had a total mintage of 81,034 pieces. The obverse design presents a striking visual story, featuring three distinct faces that represent the different cultures intersecting at the historic settlement. Legible inscriptions on this side include the phrase FOUNDING JAMESTOWN, along with the P mint mark. On the reverse, the design shifts to the maritime journey that made the colony possible. It depicts the three historic vessels, Susan Constant, Godspeed, and Discovery, which carried the original settlers across the Atlantic. The reverse also displays the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM alongside the denomination ONE DOLLAR.
