The 2007 silver quarter honoring Wyoming captures the rugged spirit of the American West. Its mirror-like finish highlights a design that celebrates the state's historical identity and natural landscape. On the reverse side, the coin displays a bucking horse and rider, a classic symbol of the region. This image is accompanied by the state's name, the year of its statehood (1890), and its proud nickname, "The Equality State." The year of release, 2007, and the traditional motto, "E Pluribus Unum," are also inscribed on this side. The obverse presents the familiar left-facing portrait of George Washington, originally modeled by John Flanagan and later modified by William Cousins.
