2007-W 1/2 oz Burnished American Gold Eagle MS-69 PCGS

0.5000 troy oz .9167 2007 PCGS

The 2007 half-ounce American Gold Eagle stands as a remarkable example of modern United States coinage, combining classic twentieth-century artistry with contemporary design. Struck in 0.9167 fine gold, this twenty-five dollar denomination coin has been certified in an exceptional Mint State 69 condition, indicating its near-flawless preservation. On the obverse, the coin displays a celebrated design adapted from the 1907 twenty-dollar gold piece by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It features Lady Liberty walking forward, illuminated by the radiating rays of a rising sun. The reverse, created by Miley Busiek, presents a family of bald eagles, showing a male eagle carrying an olive branch back to a nest where a female eagle and their young await. This side also displays the traditional national mottos, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," alongside the weight and face value specifications.
