On the 2007 die, the letter 'U' in 'UNITED STATES' is rendered in a sans-serif style, a distinct visual departure from the standard 2008 reverse. Weinman's classic obverse depiction of Lady Liberty draped in the American flag as she strides toward the dawn. The obverse also bears the inscription 'IN GOD WE TRUST' alongside the 2008 date.
