2010 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle MS-69 NGC (Early Releases)
This modern gold coin from 2010 contains a quarter ounce of fine gold and showcases two of the most celebrated designs in American coinage. The obverse presents a classic depiction of Lady Liberty, shown in stride with the sun's rays beaming behind her. This striking image is adapted from the famous early twentieth-century gold double eagle design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. On the reverse, a detailed family scene created by Miley Busiek unfolds. A male bald eagle is captured mid-flight, carrying an olive branch back to a nest that holds a female eagle and their young. This 10 dollar coin has been certified in a high Mint State 69 condition, preserving the intricate details of both historic designs.
