2010 American Silver Eagle MS-69 NGC
The 2010 American Silver Eagle represents the twenty-fourth annual release in this celebrated United States bullion series, which ran from 1986 to 2021. Struck in one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this dollar coin showcases a harmonious blend of early twentieth-century American art and traditional national symbols. On the obverse, Lady Liberty is depicted moving gracefully toward a rising sun over a mountain ridge. This iconic design, originally created by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, is accompanied by the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2010". The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, features a detailed heraldic eagle positioned behind a protective shield. In its talons, the eagle grasps an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, while holding a banner in its beak. Above the eagle, thirteen five-pointed stars are arranged to symbolize the original thirteen American colonies. The reverse inscriptions confirm the coin's weight and denomination, reading "1 OZ. FINE SILVER" and "ONE DOLLAR".
