2010 Mexico 1 oz Gold Libertad BU

1.0000 troy oz .999 2010 Brilliant Unc

The 2010 Gold Libertad is a striking example of modern Mexican coining, combining rich national symbols with precious metal purity. Struck by the historic Casa de Moneda de Mexico, this one ounce gold piece is composed of 0.999 fine gold. Its production was highly limited, with a global mintage of only 4,000 pieces, making it a particularly notable release for that year. The obverse side of the coin displays the Mexican National Shield at its center, encircled by the inscription "Estados Unidos Mexicanos". Framing this central emblem is a circular sequence of historical national coats of arms, tracing the country's symbolic evolution. This side is officially backed by the Banco de México. On the reverse, the iconic Winged Victory stands proudly in the foreground. Behind her, the famous Mexican volcanic peaks of Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl rise into the background. This side also carries the essential specifications of the coin, including the weight, the year 2010, the purity "LEY 0.999", and the phrase "ORO PURO".
