The reverse of the coin captures a quintessential American scene, depicting a powerful bison standing in the foreground while Old Faithful erupts behind it. Surrounding this detailed image are the inscriptions identifying the park, its home state of Wyoming, the year 2010, and the traditional motto E Pluribus Unum. On the obverse, the coin displays the familiar portrait of George Washington.
