2010-P Boy Scouts Centennial $1 Silver Commem Proof (w/Box & COA)

In 2010, the Philadelphia Mint produced a special silver dollar to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Struck in a proof finish, this modern commemorative coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver with a purity of 90 percent. A total of 244,963 of these proof coins were minted, offering a detailed and highly polished tribute to a century of youth leadership development. The front of the coin displays three Scouts of varying ages standing together as they render a salute. Above them, the inscription reads "Continuing the Journey" along with the double dates "1910 to 2010" to mark the centennial milestone. The design also features the traditional mottos "In God We Trust" and "Liberty." On the reverse, the official emblem of the Boy Scouts of America takes center stage, accompanied by the organization's famous motto, "Be Prepared." The surrounding legends state "United States of America," "E Pluribus Unum," and the face value of "One Dollar."
