2011 (S) Silver Eagle MS-70 NGC (Golden Gate Bridge Label)
In 2011, the San Francisco Mint produced a special release of the American Eagle silver dollar, marking exactly twenty-five years since the inception of this celebrated bullion series. This modern dollar contains one troy ounce of 99.9 percent pure silver, representing a legacy of precious metal striking backed fully by the United States government. The obverse features the classic depiction of Lady Liberty, a design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. She is shown draped in the American flag, moving gracefully toward the dawn of a new day. Legible inscriptions on this face include the year 2011 and the guiding phrase, IN GOD WE TRUST. On the reverse, John Mercanti's heraldic eagle stands proud beneath a canopy of thirteen small stars, which symbolize the original American colonies. The eagle holds an olive branch and arrows, embodying both peace and strength. The crisp lettering on this side reads UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and ONE DOLLAR, alongside the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
