2011 (W) American Silver Eagle MS-69 NGC

1.0000 troy oz .999 2011 NGC

The year 2011 marked a significant milestone for the United States Mint, representing the twenty-fifth anniversary of the annual American Silver Eagle bullion program. This sovereign coin, backed fully by the United States government, contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. Because it is a standard bullion issue, it does not carry a mint mark, making its clean design the central focus of its appeal. On the obverse, a graceful Lady Liberty is depicted draped in the American flag, walking toward a rising sun as it emerges over a mountain ridge. This side of the coin displays the year 2011 and the traditional motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse side features a detailed heraldic eagle positioned beneath a cluster of thirteen small stars. Inscriptions on this side denote the issuing nation, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, along with the coin's face value of ONE DOLLAR, its weight and purity as 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and the classic motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
