Struck in half an ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this 2012 legal tender coin from the Central Bank of Armenia captures one of the world's most enduring narratives. The piece carries a face value of 200 Drams and represents a modern issue with a total mintage of 102,028 pieces. The obverse of the coin displays the official coat of arms for the Republic of Armenia. Alongside this national emblem, the inscriptions clearly denote the face value of 200 DRAM, the year of issue, 2012, and the silver purity of Ag999. On the reverse, artist Eduard Kurghinyan depicts the dramatic conclusion of the great flood. A dove carrying an olive branch flies in the foreground, while Noah's Ark floats upon the receding waters.
