2012 Australia 1 oz Silver Year of the Dragon MS-69 NGC
Struck by the Perth Mint, this 2012 silver coin celebrates the Year of the Dragon as part of Australia's popular Lunar series. Made from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, the piece has been certified in spectacular Mint State 69 condition, indicating it is an almost perfect specimen with only minuscule imperfections. The reverse side displays a traditional Chinese dragon, a legendary creature winding across the surface alongside the symbolic Pearl of Wisdom. This side also features the Chinese character representing the dragon. On the obverse, the coin bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by inscriptions that confirm the country of issue, the year 2012, the silver purity, and the face value of 1 Dollar.
