Struck at the West Point Mint, this official United States legal tender contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. A total of 226,120 of these specially prepared coins were produced for the year. The obverse displays the iconic walking figure of Lady Liberty moving toward a rising sun, a classic design paired with the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2012". On the reverse, a powerful heraldic eagle rests beneath a cluster of thirteen stars. The West Point "W" mint mark is positioned directly below the eagle, distinguishing this burnished release from its standard counterparts.
