Struck in 2013, this half-ounce silver coin represents an intriguing collaboration between Armenian national symbolism and German manufacturing. Although it serves as legal tender authorized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the coin was actually produced by a private mint in Germany. It contains one half ounce of 0.999 fine silver and has a face value of 200 Dram, with a total mintage of 89,204 pieces for this specific release. The obverse side displays the official coat of arms for the Republic of Armenia. Surrounding this central emblem, the inscriptions clearly denote the face value of 200 DRAM, the issuing year of 2013, and the country of origin. The metal purity is also marked as Ag 999 alongside the weight. On the reverse, artist Eduard Kurghinyan captures a dramatic biblical scene. A dove flies in the foreground carrying an olive branch, while Noah's Ark floats upon the vast floodwaters in the center.
