2013 (W) American Silver Eagle MS-69 NGC

1.0000 troy oz .999 2013 NGC

The 2013 American Silver Eagle represents the twenty-seventh release in the United States Mint's premier annual silver bullion series, which originally began in 1986 and ran in this design format through 2021. Struck at the West Point Mint, this coin contains exactly one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. It has been certified in an exceptional Mint State 69 condition, highlighting the preservation of its intricate artistic details. On the obverse, the design showcases Adolph A. Weinman's classic depiction of Lady Liberty draped in the American flag, gracefully striding toward a rising sun. The inscriptions on this side include the word LIBERTY, the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year of issue, 2013. The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, features a powerful heraldic eagle beneath thirteen small stars that represent the original American colonies. In its talons, the eagle grasps an olive branch and a cluster of arrows, while holding a banner inscribed with E PLURIBUS UNUM in its beak. Additional inscriptions surrounding the central image declare the nation of origin, the face value of 1 DOLLAR, and the weight and purity of the precious metal.
