The 2014 Kennedy half dollar, struck at the Denver Mint, represents a modern continuation of one of America's most recognizable circulating coin designs. This particular issue is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the original luster and sharp details of the strike just as it appeared when leaving the coining press. The obverse of the coin features a left-facing bust of President John F. Kennedy, designed by Gilroy Roberts. This portrait is accompanied by the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST" split across the lower field, with the year 2014 positioned at the bottom. The Denver Mint's "D" mint mark is also visible on this side, indicating its origin. On the reverse, Frank Gasparro's design presents a detailed heraldic eagle. The eagle holds a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace. The traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is displayed on a scroll above the eagle, while the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "HALF DOLLAR" frame the central design. Structurally, the coin is composed of a copper and nickel outer layer bonded to a core of pure copper.
