In 2014, the United States Mint released a remarkably large quarter dollar honoring the natural wonders of Arches National Park in Utah. This coin represents the twenty-third design issued in the America the Beautiful program. Struck in five troy ounces of highly pure 0.999 fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint, this specimen carries the 'P' mint mark and features a satin-like Brilliant Uncirculated finish. The production of this specific issue was limited to a mintage of 22,000 pieces. The reverse side displays a detailed depiction of Delicate Arch, the park's most famous free-standing sandstone formation, with the distant peaks of the La Sal Mountains framing the background.
