2014-S Kennedy H.D. SP-69 Enhanced Sil. 50th Anni. High Relief
In 2014, a special high-relief silver half dollar was struck to mark the fiftieth anniversary of one of America's most recognizable coin designs. This particular modern issue, minted at the San Francisco facility, features a distinct Enhanced Finish that brings out the subtle textures and details of the engraving. Certified in exceptional Specimen 69 condition, the coin contains 0.3617 troy ounces of silver and represents a meticulous approach to modern minting techniques. The front of the coin displays a detailed bust of President John F. Kennedy, originally designed by Gilroy Roberts, accompanied by the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST". On the reverse, the design by Frank Gasparro showcases a heraldic eagle clutching an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and the country name "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". The "S" mint mark is clearly visible, identifying its origin at the San Francisco Mint.
