Struck at the West Point Mint, this modern dollar contains exactly one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. Its exceptional preservation has earned it a high certified grade of Mint State 69, capturing the crisp details of its iconic imagery. On the obverse, the design showcases Lady Liberty in mid-stride, draped in the American flag as she walks toward a rising sun. This graceful figure is based on the famous 1916 Walking Liberty half dollar concept by Adolph A. Weinman. The legible inscriptions include the word LIBERTY spaced across the top, the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year of issue, 2014. The reverse, created by John Mercanti, features a powerful heraldic eagle positioned beneath a cluster of thirteen five-pointed stars. In its talons, the eagle grasps an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, while holding a ribbon in its beak inscribed with E PLURIBUS UNUM.
