The 2014 American Silver Eagle represents the twenty eighth year of release for this renowned United States bullion program. Struck at the West Point Mint in New York, this specimen contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. It has achieved the highest possible grade of Mint State 70, indicating a coin with no visible imperfections even under close inspection. The obverse side displays a graceful depiction of Lady Liberty walking toward a rising sun over a mountain ridge. This side also bears the inscription of the year 2014 along with the phrase IN GOD WE TRUST. On the reverse, a majestic heraldic eagle rests beneath a cluster of thirteen small stars. The inscriptions on this side designate the country of origin as the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, alongside the face value of ONE DOLLAR, the weight and purity of 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
