2014-W Proof American Silver Eagle PF-70 NGC (ER, Jones)

---

Struck at the West Point Mint, this 2014 American Silver Eagle coin showcases the peak of modern minting technology. The piece is struck in one troy ounce of 99.9 percent pure silver, carrying a proof finish that highlights the contrast between its frosted details and mirror-like fields. Having achieved a perfect PF-70 grade, this specimen displays no visible imperfections under close inspection. The obverse features the iconic figure of Lady Liberty, draped in the national flag, stepping toward a rising sun over a mountain ridge. This classic depiction was originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. Inscriptions on this side include the word LIBERTY, the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year 2014. On the reverse, a heraldic eagle stands beneath a cluster of thirteen five-pointed stars. The eagle holds an olive branch and arrows, symbolizing peace and strength. The outer rim is inscribed with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination and weight, shown as ONE DOLLAR and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER. The distinct W mint mark identifies its origin from the West Point facility.
