2015 1 oz Gold Buffalo MS-69 PCGS (FirstStrike®)
Introduced in 2006, the American Buffalo series represents a striking achievement in modern United States minting, offering a high purity of 0.9999 fine gold. This 2015 edition contains exactly one troy ounce of precious metal, combining exceptional purity with a design deeply rooted in early twentieth-century American art. The obverse of the coin features a powerful profile of an American Indian, which is a faithful rendition of the famous 1913 Buffalo Nickel design by James Earle Fraser. The word LIBERTY is clearly inscribed along the upper right rim, with the year 2015 and the artist's initial F positioned near the lower left. On the reverse, the design showcases a magnificent American buffalo, modeled after a famous bison named Black Diamond. The inscriptions on this side reflect the nation's traditional mottos, including E PLURIBUS UNUM and IN GOD WE TRUST. The legal tender face value of $50 is displayed alongside the weight and purity markings, which read 1 OZ. 0.9999 FINE GOLD, all set against the backdrop of the United States of America inscription.
