2015 1 oz Gold Buffalo MS-70 PCGS (FS, Black Diamond)
Introduced by the United States Mint in 2006, the American Buffalo series represents a landmark in modern coinage as a pure gold offering. This 2015 issue contains one troy ounce of exceptionally fine 0.9999 gold. It has achieved the highest possible grading of Mint State 70 (MS-70), signifying a coin with no visible imperfections even under close inspection. The obverse of the coin displays a powerful portrait of a Native American chieftain, a celebrated design originally created in 1913. This side is inscribed with the word LIBERTY alongside the 2015 date and the initial F. The design captures a dignified profile that has become one of the most recognizable images in American numismatic history. On the reverse, the coin features a majestic American bison, modeled after a famous buffalo named Black Diamond. The animal stands in profile, surrounded by traditional inscriptions including UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and IN GOD WE TRUST. The bottom of the coin clearly displays its weight, purity, and face value, marked as 1 OZ. 0.9999 FINE GOLD and $50.
