2015 American Silver Eagle MS-69 NGC (Early Releases)
The 2015 American Silver Eagle represents the twenty-ninth year of the United States Mint's premier silver bullion initiative, which originally commenced in 1986 and ran in this classic form through 2021. Struck from one troy ounce of 99.9 percent pure silver, this specimen has achieved a high MS-69 certification, indicating an exceptionally well-preserved strike with minimal imperfections. On the obverse, the design draws inspiration from the historic Walking Liberty motif originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. Lady Liberty is depicted moving gracefully toward the dawn, draped in the American flag. The inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and the year 2015 are clearly legible alongside her figure. The reverse side, designed by John Mercanti, features a powerful heraldic eagle reminiscent of the Great Seal of the United States. The majestic bird grasps an olive branch in one talon and arrows in the other, symbolizing peace and defense, while holding a banner inscribed with E PLURIBUS UNUM in its beak. Above the eagle, thirteen small stars are arranged in a triangular pattern to represent the founding American colonies. The surrounding text confirms the origin and face value, reading UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER ONE DOLLAR.
