2015 Canada 1/10 oz Gold Howling Wolf .99999 BU MS-69 NGC FDI
In 2015, the Royal Canadian Mint embarked on a new numismatic journey with the debut of its Call of the Wild series. This inaugural release showcases an extraordinary level of refinement, minted from one tenth of an ounce of gold refined to an incredible purity of 0.99999. This extreme level of refinement represents a remarkable technical achievement in precious metal processing. The design captures the raw spirit of the Canadian wilderness. One side of the coin features a detailed depiction of a howling Grey Wolf, a powerful symbol of the northern forests. This reverse side also displays the weight and the ultra high purity of the metal. On the other side, the coin bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. Accompanying the royal effigy is the official face value of 20 Dollars, alongside the year of issue, 2015. This specimen has been professionally evaluated and graded as Mint State 69 First Day of Issue, indicating its virtually flawless condition from the very start of its production run.
