This area holds the distinction of being the sole inland temperate rainforest on Earth, where snowfall provides the vast majority of the annual moisture. The reverse design showcases the Western Yew, a fascinating coniferous tree that defies typical expectations by producing vibrant, berry-like red casings rather than traditional cones.
