The obverse features the iconic Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located within Beijing's historic Temple of Heaven. Surrounding this architectural marvel are Chinese characters translating to the People's Republic of China, along with the 2015 year of issue. Struck from 0.1000 troy ounces of 0.999 fine gold, this modern 50 Yuan denomination coin is backed by the central bank of China, the People's Bank of China. This specific specimen has been certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition, and is designated as a First Strike, indicating it was received for grading within the initial month of its release.
