The 2015 Kennedy half dollar represents a modern continuation of one of America's most recognizable circulating coin designs. Struck at the Denver Mint, this particular issue is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the sharp details of the original engravings. Structurally, the coin is composed of a copper and nickel outer layer bonded securely to a core of pure copper. On the obverse, the profile of President John F. Kennedy faces left, a design created by Gilroy Roberts. This side bears the inscription of the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," along with the Denver "D" mint mark and the year 2015. The reverse side features the detailed work of Frank Gasparro, depicting a powerful heraldic eagle. The eagle holds a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace. The traditional Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is integrated into the design, which is encircled by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination, "HALF DOLLAR."
