This iconic depiction is a modern adaptation of the famous early twentieth-century design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The year 2015 is clearly inscribed alongside this timeless figure. On the reverse, a detailed scene created by Miley Busiek depicts a family of bald eagles. A male eagle is shown in mid-flight, carrying an olive branch back to a nest where a female eagle and their young await.
