As the ninth entry in an ongoing series of biblical depictions, and the third to debut in 2016, the coin is struck from 0.999 fine silver. Its rimless design allows the detailed engraving to span the entire surface, creating an immersive visual experience. The reverse side depicts the poignant moment of Adam and Eve being expelled from the Garden of Eden, a scene directly inspired by the famous illustration by Gustave Doré. An angel stands with a sword in hand, directing the couple forward as they step out into the unfamiliar wilderness. This powerful imagery is complemented by the accompanying certificate of authenticity, which features Doré's original artwork alongside the biblical passage of Genesis 3:22 to 24. On the obverse, the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is surrounded by essential details including the coin's weight, purity, and its face value of two dollars. Based on the legible inscriptions, the coin also displays the issuing nation of Niue and the year 2016.
