The reverse of the coin showcases a peregrine falcon suspended in mid-flight, diving down toward its target. This dynamic illustration serves as the inaugural design in a specific series. It builds upon a previous Birds of Prey collection released from 2013 to 2015, which celebrated the falcon, the bald eagle, the red-tailed hawk, and the great horned owl. On the obverse, the coin displays the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by artist Susanna Blunt.
